NanoSpheRx manufactures particle engineering equipment for and licenses its Imprex SFL technology to the biopharma industry. Its Imprex SFL particle engineering technology was licensed in 2003 from the University of Texas at Austin for water soluble applications including proteins, peptides, RNA, DNA, vaccines, and other biologics. Dow Chemical is presently commercializing the same technology for water insoluble chemical based drugs under the market name BioAqueous® (www.bioaqueous.com).
